One home for worship songs, on every screen
Sabbatech wanted people to find a hymn, follow the lyrics as the music plays and sing along, on their phone or on the web, with paid memberships, and a simple way for their own team to manage the song catalogue.
Four apps on one backend
iOS and Android app
Browse songs by author and category, save favourites, and open full-screen lyrics that move stanza by stanza with the audio player.
In-app subscriptions
Paid memberships through the App Store and Google Play, with every purchase verified by the backend before access is granted.
Website
A React website with the same song library, a web audio player and Stripe checkout for memberships.
Admin portal
A Next.js portal where Sabbatech's team manages songs, authors, categories and users, with charts and Excel import and export.
API and background jobs
A FastAPI and PostgreSQL backend, with Celery and Redis for bulk jobs like user imports, Google Cloud Storage for media, and transactional email.
Three front ends, one source of truth
A production-ready app on both stores and the web
The same catalogue, lyrics and memberships work on iOS, Android and the web, and Sabbatech's team runs the content themselves from the admin portal.
